HVCC Compliance

To further ensure the quality of our valuation products, we follow the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC). The code's main goal is to achieve appraiser independence safeguards during the ordering process eliminating any bias, coercion, undue influence or coaching toward a desired value. In prospect of the May 1, 2009 HVCC enforcement, we want to make sure you meet those requirements.

If you so desire, RHL Appraisals will issue a Compliance Certificate stating:

Independent appraiser selection
No exchange of appraiser information until report delivery
No communication of desired or estimated loan amount value(s)
Elimination of COD payment option
Substantive appraisal review by a properly trained and qualified team
